Pivot 8's coordinates, offset, and 180° sweep are calibrated from its real end-stop positions. Pivot 9's real center and 200m radius are set (full 360°), but its angle offset isn't calibrated yet — the arm will point somewhere plausible but not necessarily correct until we know its 0°/360° reference. The arm's live angle comes from Corvina via a scheduled scrape (~every 15 min) — not instant, but far more current than any satellite pass.

All sources run independently. When Sentinel-2 is clouded out, VIIRS/MODIS still update daily — that's the "combine sources" idea: more total updates than any one satellite gives you alone.
